NANNY SHARE
There are two types of Nanny Share
- The first is a nanny who works for two families. The families share the cost of employing the nanny, and agree on the terms of her contract together.
- The second is an experienced or qualified nanny who has a child of her own, but would like to continue nannying, so will take her own child to her employer’s house.

CHILDMINDER
A qualified or experienced child carer. Childminders work in their own homes caring for other people's children and giving them plenty of learning opportunities. They often look after children from birth and become a well-respected and important part of families' lives - managing a business-like relationship with the parents as well as often being a close friend of the family.

BABYSITTER
Babysitters who are normally experienced childcarers will come to your house in the evening; you may wish them to put your children to bed, and then sit with them until you return home.
If you are slightly uneasy at the prospect of leaving your child with a new sitter, it is possible for you to speak to them first and also to check their references upon request, as with anyone that JEM Childcare provides you with.
JEM Childcare Solutions services include:
- ID checks
- CV Verification
- Qualification checks
- A minimum of two references carefully checked by our consultants to give you peace of mind
- Criminal Records Bureau Checks

As professionals ourselves we empathise with you and your needs, our nannies need not only to fulfil the following vetting process but they also need to be professional, caring, fun and have relevant experience with children of a similar age. We only register and put forward for interview candidates that we would employ ourselves.
If the Client would like to be able to take advantage of the childcare element of working tax credits or use the childcare vouchers, they will need their nanny to become Ofsted Registered.
